Since the project was first announced, Sony Pictures Television has searched far and wide to the three young actresses to star in ABC’s resumption of Charlie’s Angels. Annie Ilonzeh (General Hospital) was launched last week – Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) and Rachael Taylor (Transformers) is in talks to join her.

Kelly would study in the series, but not necessarily as Marisa. Kelly’s character is not so simple. The character will no longer be called Marisa by the time you finish.Currently the third angel is the former Marisa Marino, a weapons expert and total neat freak. Producers are reshaping the role to better adapt to the considerable talents of Kelly.
